2017 SUBARU BRZ GT 2.0 AUTO in WR BLUE PEARL

The first-generation (ZC6) model that used an Engine unit FA20D 2.0 litre. It has a six-speed manual transmission packed 208 PS (205 hp) and 214 N .

the 2017 Subaru BRZ with a heavily revised but still naturally aspirated 2.0-liter flat-four. Equipped with new intake and exhaust manifolds, cylinder heads, cams, and valves, its power climbs from 200 to 205 horsepower while peak torque rises an equally insignificant 5 lb-ft, to 156 lb-ft. The gains appear so high in the rev range (peak output is at 7000 and 6400 rpm, respectively) as to be virtually imperceptible in daily driving. And the torque valley that haunts the BRZ’s midrange, between 3300 and 4600 rpm? It is slightly mitigated but still exists and is still burdensome. It’s a character killer in a car that’s otherwise full of promising personality. (car&driver,2017)

Low Centre of Gravity

A low centre of gravity keeps drivers closer to what matters: the tarmac. The SUBARU BRZ uses its low-profile, high-output SUBARU BOXER engine to help concentrate its mass to a point just 460mm* above the ground. The result—sublime, predictable handling that bestows confident enjoyment upon drivers of all skill levels.

Using air to our advantage

The rear spoiler wing provides more than just a high-performance look. The new, sleek pedestal-type rear spoiler made of aluminium has been raised off the trunk lid for faster airflow beneath the wing, increasing downforce. The result is better aerodynamic performance, and increased control and stability.

MAX TORQUE:

2.0-litre DOHC SUBARU BOXER

This 200 PS engine loves to be revved. With a high redline, a flat torque curve and 100 PS per litre, you’ll be sure there’s plenty of power no matter what rpm you’re at. You’ll have less impact on the environment, and more excitement at your disposal. (Subaru Brochure)
